Kreta Ayer Community Club was first set up in 1960, one of the oldest Community Centre in Singapore.

The Community Centre was rebuilt in 1980, to a three-storey building. This was followed by the building of the extension block in 1993 to accommodate the demand of the residents.

Kreta Ayer Community Club is located in Chinatown area, a place that is rich in Chinese culture, history and heritage.
